2020's

2021 Calder Stewart Energy completes its first rooftop solar system.

2022 Stewart Family Capital enters the venture capital space.

2023 Calder Stewart launches Awarua Quadrant, the largest area of heavy industrial zoned land in Australasia.

2010’s

2014 Calder Stewart opens it state-of-the-art steel fabrication factory at Revolution Hills.

2017 Calder Stewart Roofing, one of New Zealand’s leading roofing companies, is sold to Fletcher Building, an NZX listed company.

2019 FortHill Property is launched, bringing funds management into the group’s remit.

2000’s

2008 Calder Stewart Precast opens the largest indoor precast concrete manufacturing plant in the South Island.

2008 Landmark Hornby Quadrant is brought to market, cementing Calder Stewart Property as one of the largest industrial developers in New Zealand.

2009 Hazeldean Business Park is completed, marking the group’s first long term office investment.

1990’s

1995 Calder Stewart Distribution formed, giving the ability to move manufactured product to Construction sites.

1980’s

1986 First land acquisition and Property development activities commence.

1970’s

1978 Calder Stewart Industries formed, consisting of the three main activities of Construction, Steel & Roofing.

1979 First forestry block is purchased.

1960’s

1964 Calder Stewart Steel formed.

1950’s

1955 Company formed as ‘Calder and Stewart Ltd’.
